Based over one floor, this spacious 64sqm apartment with an additional 3.6sqm of balcony space offers fantastic access into the 3 Valleys resort and also to the in-house pool and spa facilities.
The apartment itself sits slightly separate from the main building of the development, making it a more serene spot. Access is either across the road, or by using the footbridge that crosses this road for the busy periods.
Entering the ground floor apartment, the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom is located to the far right, with the second double room and bunk room also on this side. There is a shared bathroom for these 2 rooms, plus a separate WC.
The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen of over 20sqm are to the left, with some storage in the entrance hall. The balcony is accessed from the living room and looks out to the west, with great views of the La Masse mountain.
The ski access gives you the choice of lifts to access the centre of resort - all via green or blue runs, so nothing too taxing or anxiety-inducing! Buses also run from in front of the building to the main areas of resort throughout the day, all season through.

The property is sold with a covered parking space, a large owner's cupboard - the largest in the building at around 5sqm - located just a few metres from the apartment and a ski locker 10m from the piste access.
Within the development, there is both a ski shop and a quality restaurant,, so everything is on your doorstep.
Les Menuires is very well located in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area, the largest linked domaine in the world. Using the lifts system, you can be skiing in Val Thorens, Meribel and Courchevel within just a few lifts and the Menuires ski area is the best for finishing the day on the sunny slopes.

A beautiful place all year with highly defined seasons and quiet and tranquil out of the ski season when the crowds have gone home, and then suddenly once again each winter the mountains of the Three Valleys come alive with people enjoying this vast ski area... The largest linked skiing in the world.The Three Valleys ski domain provides more than 600km of runs and probably the same again off-piste. In fact it should now be called the Four Valleys with the link into Orelle (Maurienne Valley) which can be accessed by ski from Val Thorens. This has also opened up some extraordinary off-piste runs. The Three Valleys provides direct links between the ski resorts of St Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Mottaret, La Tania, Brides les Bains and the four Courchevel resorts, la Praz, 1550, 1650 and the world famous 1850 - and now Orelle, in the fourth valley - all under one ski pass offering on-piste skiing from 1300m all the way up to 3200m. As these figures show the Three Valleys ski area offers huge altitude differences favouring long run skiing.It has an ultra efficient, state of the art ski lift system, quality piste preparation and a dense artificial snow making system (1920 snow cannons) complementing the excellent natural snow cover. However, if you are not a fan of downhill skiing or like some variety during your stay then you can also roam the domain at your leisure on foot, hiking along the marked trails, or using the pedestrian ski lift passes. Many trails have been created especially to enjoy the increasingly popular snowshoeing sport and to discover the valleys from a new perspective: flora, wildlife, monuments, and spectacular scenery. There are also many cross-country skiing tracks that are prepared and maintained each day. These allow you to take in the breathtaking scenery and provide the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the mountains away from the pistes.An interesting and wonderful area all year round, there is much more here than the snow sports.
Les Menuires is a superb ski base for ski and board lovers of all levels and tastes. For a long time it was known as the bargain basement of the Three Valleys and there’s nothing wrong with that. Well nothing except the buildings thrown up to house the staff for the winter Olympics were all concrete blocks and felt ugly when compared to little wood and stone chalets. This created a reluctance to buy here by anyone looking for something more than just a ski base.
Increasingly however, with lovely new chalets and developments going that are good quality and in the Savoyard stone and wood style, more people are looking here as a good place to find a well priced ski property - and with the 600kms of the Three Valley pistes accessed from your doorstep that has to make sense.
Its big selling point has always been its superb location for skiers. Situated at 1800 with Val Thorens, the highest ski resort in Europe just up the valley, and linking directly into the skiing of the Meribel, Courchevel and Orelle valleys. The Belleville valley in its own right out classes most ski resorts both on marked pistes available to ski and the incredible network of lifts and mountain restaurants. Because of its great skiing and sensibly priced activities it has become a popular resort for those buying to rent as the ski rental business here has proved to be very strong and consistent. Due to this in 2008/09 when other resorts were losing money due to the crunch Les Menuires actually increased its visitors.
There is a lot of ski in / ski out property from which all areas of the Three Valleys are easily accessed, and don’t forget its local slopes are some of the best for good skiers: challenging, usually with good snow, and rarely used by visitors from the other valleys especially La Masse a wonderful area that allows access to some great slopes as well as stunning off-piste runs. That said there is something for every level of skier and non-skiers are not left out with many activities both exiting and relaxing available.
The long term investment by the council to improve and upgrade the resort plus a decent range of shops, restaurants, bars and a good quality gym and spa makes this resort worth a look for the keen skier who likes to get value for money.
