The Villa....

This unique property is located high on the hills above the town of Tallard in the Hautes Alpes.
It was originally just one stone house but has evolved and grown over time and is now composed of 2 interconnected houses and an independent barn which could be developed in to another stand alone house or gite.

The property is equiped with fibre optic communications.
There are several terraces and balconies that over look the garden, all connected via external stone steps and pathways. There is a vast cave on the lowest level, which houses the fuel boiler and another separate cellar for storage.
The top level of the property has 3 bedrooms, a lounge and kitchen, all of which require decoration.
This part of the building also has a working well which is still used to water the gardens.

The terraced gardens have large lawns and bush rows with a variety of pine trees. There is a heated swimming pool and a gated entrance that allows access for cars.

On the upper parcel of land near to the road is a large barn which has a total area of 130 m2. It has electric and water and can easily be renovated to become either an annexe to the main villa or gite. This building also has wonerful views over the land and valley below.

This is a very unique property in a remarkable setting at the foot hills of the French Alps.

There is an adjacent plot of land which has a large garage which can also be acquired if so desired. The garage is on 2 floors and could be made in to another small house.

The Area.....

Venterol is a small village set up on the hills over looking the town of Tallard. The village has access t many sports including canyoning, hiking, rafting, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.
Tallard is famous for it's airfield which has several piloting schools for helicopters, planes and gliders as well as a very well known skydiving club.
The town is close to the departments largest town, Gap, which is just 30 minutes from the house. Tallard also connects to the A51 autoroute which descends to Aix en Provence and Marseille.
