MONT DORE is in the heart of the Auverne National Park and is one of the oldest ski resorts in France. Le Sancy is at 1850m sits at the northern side of the mountain and has 41km of slopes with the link to Super Besse on the southern side with another 43km of slopes offering alpine skiing and cross country skiing. Le Mont Dore town is at the foot of the Le Sancy. Its a pretty old Spa town with beautiful stone buildings and small streets.
