SAINT-GERVAIS is ideally located between Megeve and Chamonix and is under an hours drive to Geneva 68km. At the heart of the Domaine Evasion Mont Blanc area the 3rd largest in France with 445km of piste Saint Gervais les Bains is also a bustling little French market down with a good size year round population and whilst a lot of people buy their property due to the winter season many of my clients tell me they use their properties more in the summer than the winter.

The weekly markets in the square in the summer months draw holidaymakers and locals alike and there was a host of activities on offer as well as easy access to Switzerland, Italy, Annecy and more Walking , biking , swimming in the local lakes or just pick a table at one of the bustling cafés and watch the world go bye.

The 3rd largest winter playground in France and one of our most popular areas, Domaine Evasion Mont Blanc - under an hour to Geneva and to Italy and with 445km (276 miles) of piste served by 107 ski lifts and featuring the resorts of Saint Gervais Mont Blanc, St Nicolas de Veroce, Les Contamines, Megève, Combloux, and La Giettaz.You can also link Saint Gervais's second area , 'Les Houches Saint Gervais' via the Tramway du Mont Blanc from Saint-Gervais and onwards to the Chamonix valley.The lift pass price is reasonable for such a huge area and the atmosphere that of genuine French market towns and villages and not of purpose-built ski resorts. If you are looking for authenticity where French is still spoken in the bars and shops this is the place !The area is one of the easiest to reach from Geneva airport, just 86km so an easy 45 minutes motorway drive and then just 7 minutes up the hill to Saint-Gervais. The area is less well known as there are no major tour operators bringing the mass market to the area, however there are plenty of like-minded independent travellers and the range of villages means you will find a holiday to suit almost every person and pocket. From the uber rich clientele of Megève, to the traditional market town of Saint Gervais les Bains , great for families with a cable link direct from the TGV train station and the friendly village resort of Les Contamines there is something for everyone. This also applies to the skiing which is varied to suit all abilities and the traditional villages makes this a great destination in the summer months too with a range of activities for everyone.
