We decided to make the Tarentaise our home because we simply couldn’t picture living anywhere better. Whether your preference is for the summer mountain trails or for the snow covered ski slopes, this area has it all! The top of the valley boasts the large, world renowned, snow sure resorts of Tignes & Vald’Isère. There’s also the rapidly expanding resort of La Rosière which, situated on the French Italian border is really rather special (Italy for lunch anyone?) The area is also home to some lesser known secret gems, including Sainte Foy Tarentaise, a snow lovers paradise popular with both families & off-piste lovers alike. Summer is as good as winter! Often on the route of the Tour de France, with bike & running trails everywhere & the local town of Bourg Saint Maurice – if, like us, you’re a fan of mountain sports you are guaranteed to love it here! I could talk about this area for days! Don’t hesitate to get in touch.
